The Weslo Pursuit 2.0 DS upright cycle is one of the lowest priced bikes on the market. The price is about $100 plus shipping. It has a single window console display that shows speed, time, distance and calories burned. The seat can be adjusted to various heights.

The Life Gear recumbent model costs about $160 plus shipping. The large LCD screen displays speed, time, calories burned and distance. It has a magnetic resistance system with a dial tension knob.


The Proform GL35 upright model features a silent magnetic resistance, an EKG grip heart rate monitor, digital resistance, adjustable seat and handlebars. The multi window display shows speed, time, distance, calories burned, pulse and resistance. It has 4 built in programs, a workout fan and iFit technology. Price is about $200 plus shipping.

The Schwinn 101 upright bike costs about $270-300. It has an easy to use control panel, six built in programs and a smooth, silent resistance system. The seat and handlebars are adjustable.
