Keys Treadmill Review
for folding Models

Keys Fitness started making treadmills in 1997. This Keys treadmill review covers the Discovery and Encore series, which are folding treadmills. A total of 6 treadmill lines are produced by Keys Fitness, which is located in Garland, Texas.

Keys brands: Alliance, Health Trainer, Keys, Discovery, Encore and Ironman.

Keys is mostly known for lower priced treadmills. The quality is good compared to most other treadmills in this price range. Keys has a good presentation in specialty fitness, like weights and accessories.

Discovery 120 is a basic unit with only a 90 day labor warranty. Price is about $1000.

Discovery 320 was rated below average by the Treadmill Doctor. Price is about $1200.

Discovery 420 has a good motor, but only a 90 day labor warranty. An extended warranty, if available, might be a good idea. Price is about $1400.

Encore 1500 has a large motor, especially compared to the small walking surface, which is 18" x 51". Price is about $1000.

Encore 4500 has a large walking area. The 2.5 HP motor should be strong enough for the 20" x 56" belt. Price is about $1200.

Encore 6500 is a good machine in this price range. Price is about $1500.
