The cardio Polar sports bra is a heart rate sensing bra. There is no need for a separate heart rate monitoring chest strap.

The bra coordinates Polar's new sensing technology directly into the garment. Two sensors are built into the bra band. The sensors are compatible with the Polar WearLink transmitter, training computers and heart rate compatible equipment.

Material for the bra is a polyester/spandex blend fabric that is designed to remove moisture and keep you comfortable. The bra has an adjustable back closure and can be machine washed. Price is about $70-75.

For beginners the FS3C shows your heart rate on an easy to read display. It shows a summary of your latest workout.

A more advanced heart rate monitor is the RS300X model. Price is about $170. It helps you train at the right intensity, measures your aerobic fitness and tells you your progress. The display also shows calories burned.
