The Precor EFX 5.23 elliptical delivers a good cardio and muscle toning workout. It provides smooth, low impact exercises. Price is about $2700.

The trainer lets you adjust the height of the elliptical path your foot travels. This allows you to focus on specific muscle groups. Moving handlebars let you tone and condition your entire body.
