Exercise Bike

An exercise bike is the most used exercise equipment. It is perfect, if you are just starting to exercise. You can use it, while watching television, make phone calls or keeping an eye on your baby.

Many models and styles are available with a wide range of prices from $200 to over $3000. There are basically two types available:
1. The upright cycle, which is like a traditional road bike.
2. The recumbent cycle has a bucket seat, which makes it more comfortable and provides good back support.

Look for the following features:

  • Seats should be easy to adjust to accomodate various user heights.
  • The seat should be comfortable and provide good back support.
  • There should be several resistance levels that can easily be adjusted.
  • For safety reasons, especially to keep kid's fingers out, the wheels should be covered.
  • The display for distance, speed and resistance levels should be easy to read.
  • Warranty should be at least 1 year for parts and labor.
