Reduce Weight
with a healthy Diet Plan

There are many diet plans available that promote various programs. A healthy diet plan should include the following:

1. Consumption of fewer calories than you burn. If you consume 500 calories less every day, you will lose about one pound a week. It is not recommended to skip a meal. It is better to reduce the meal portions.

2. Good diets should include plenty of vegetables, fruits, lean meats, fish and whole grains. Reduce consumption of potatoes, dairy products and soft drinks.

3. Limit your use of fats. Some research shows that a low fat plan can reduce heart disease and other health problems. Some diets recommend good fats like olive oil, nuts and other low fat resources.

4. Moderate exercise of 30-60 minutes a day will help burn calories and make you feel and look better.

Once you choose a diet program, make sure you follow it properly. Most dieters start a program and stop after a short time or don't follow it as proposed. The result is that they don't lose weight as expected and therefore quit or change to another diet. But any program will only be successful, if followed properly. If you skip your diet for 1 or 2 days, don't stop. Just go back and follow the program. It might delay your weight loss goal, but at least you are back with the program.
